Your Birth Story
One on one labor support and documentation.
On call services from 38 weeks. I will be available to you from the onset of active labor until about 2 hours after delivery to capture your entire birth story and all the first moments after birth.

Cherish those first intimate hours or days getting to know your new baby. Two hour session at the place of birth, or when you arrive home. Allow me to document sweet skin to skin time, first baths, or meeting siblings.

It's an extremely private and intimate experience, and the more people in that space can make it harder to find the deep focus you need for labor. But navigating all the information out there during this time in your life can be overwhelming.
Let's work together ahead at time to discover and channel that innate strength and power that is within you for birth. I offer one on one, personalized, and family centered prenatal preparation. I like to view my role in your process as a mentor, helping you navigate the immense life change birth can be.

FAQ
Wait, are you a nurse, or a doula?
I started training as a doula 15 years ago but quickly decided to continue my education in nursing so that I could work in obstetrics nursing. If you hire me for you birth, I would work within the scope of a doula but with the knowledge and skills of 10+ years of supporting physiologic birth, and navigating hospital systems.
Will you share my photos?
I believe your privacy is a fundamental human right. Birth is one of the most intimate experiences we will ever have in our lives. I am honored each time I am invited into someone birth space and do not take that invitation lightly. Images from those moments would only be shared with your permission.
Do you offer payment plans?
YES! Bringing a new baby into your family comes with so many added expenses. I'd love to discuss options that can make it a little easier to budget birth photography and any other perinatal services you might need.
One way to make birth and newborn photography more affordable, is to add it to your gift registry. I provide gift certificates for your family and friends to purchase to contribute to your project. You can also use your HSA for doula services.
Do you travel?
I'm happy to come to you!
There will be an additional travel fee when travel is required greater than 60 miles.
What is your typical timeline for gallery delivery?
Every package includes 5-10 sneak peeks within 24 hours after your shoot. All portraits and family sessions will be delivered within two weeks.
Birth Story albums take 4-6 weeks for delivery. I believe your birth story ultimately belongs to you. The images I capture are only through my lens. I find it important for you to have time to process your birth story and events before viewing your birth gallery.
