Let's Journey Together

In our society, we are surrounded by information, but preparing for birth requires more than just facts. Embodied Birth addresses the deeper need to connect knowledge with your inner wisdom, empowering you to discover your own strength in birth and develop tools for coping as you navigate labor and the journey into motherhood.

Embodied Birth is a 6-week birth and postpartum preparation course, offering a comprehensive, holistic approach to childbirth. More than just a class, it’s a community of parents preparing together—mentally, physically, and emotionally—for the transformative journey of birth.

In Embodied Birth We Will:

  • Explore the Importance of Physiologic Birth: Understand how trusting the body’s natural process optimizes key hormones like oxytocin and endorphins, supporting a smoother labor, natural pain relief, and a more empowered, connected birthing experience for both mother and baby.
  • Build a Toolkit of Coping Techniques for Birth and Beyond: Practice techniques like guided meditation, breath-work, and visualization to help you feel centered, grounded, and prepared for birth and new parenthood.
  • Partner-Guided Support and Relaxation: Explore practical techniques for comfort and relaxation, including gentle touch, massage, and positioning, for partner support through labor and deepening connection as you prepare for parenthood.
  • Practice Mindful Movement: Cultivate a movement practice tailored to your body, designed to promote optimal fetal positioning and prepare your unique physiology for a smoother, more comfortable pregnancy and birth experience.
  • Build a Supportive Community: Connect with other parents on the same journey, fostering meaningful relationships, sharing experiences, and creating a strong support network that extends beyond birth.
